I was born a coal miner's daughter. Wait... wrong story.
Born and raised in the South until the ripe old age of well... (It's not polite to ask) and I still have the twang - I don't see ridding myself of that in this lifetime. I use ma'am and sir like it's oxygen and hold the door open for people because my Momma taught me to be a gentleman.
Through the years, I've put in time in Texas, both the Carolinas, Pennsylvania, Hawaii (The Big Island. HOWZIT!), various regions of Oregon, Los Angeles, and currently hanging my hat in the Charlotte, NC Metro area.
Designer. Reader. Runner. Critical thinker. Lover. Minimalist. Doer of things.
I started working for my Dad, a mechanic and tow-truck driver with an intensely strong work ethic, at the age of 12 and pretty much haven't stopped since. I love to read (I typically have about five books going at any given time), and long walks on short piers. But most importantly, I work hard and play hard.
I decided to pursue a creative career after studying financial management in college and realizing I prefer using the right side of my brain, leaning on my love of comic books.
Not only can I create designs that look great, I can make it work! I'm a “Protector of the Brand” and an anal-retentive production designer to boot! LEFT BRAIN POWERS, ACTIVATE!!!
